The Treatment

Luckily, eyebrow treatments have recently become more accessible and effective than ever before, meaning that you no longer have to take part in invasive surgery to get the results you desire.
At La Fuente, we offer a range of brow treatments, yet our Eyebrow Lift, a procedure sometimes known as a Forehead Lift, is a treatment that is amongst the most widely requested. This is performed to help reduce the visible frown lines between your eyebrows, whilst raising the height of these facial features in the process! Once you have had an Eyebrow Lift your face will look replenished, rejuvenated and more youthful.
How Does It Work?
As we age our eyebrows tend to move down the face, often due to softening skin tissue which in turn results in the loss of skin elasticity. When this happens, the distance between your brows and eyes can shorten, something which can make you look fatigued, angry or sad, even if you feel perfectly fine.
An Eyebrow Lift can solve this problem with the help of Botulinum toxin injections. When these are administered correctly they can help reduce the visible signs of ageing and restore sagging eyebrows to a much more desirable position.
Botulinum toxin is injected into the target area of the face to relax the underlying muscles. As a result, your skin will become smoother over time and your forehead muscles will start to pull up your eyebrows, elevating them and further defining your eyes.
In some cases, Botulinum toxin is also administered to the ends of the eyebrows for additional lift – the results of this will vary depending on your age and the ability of your muscles to lift up the relaxed facial region.
Am I Suitable For Treatment?
Fortunately, as this treatment is non-invasive it can be requested by almost anyone. If you think you have low, sagging or asymmetrical brows, then an Eyebrow Lift could be just the thing you need to reduce these symptoms and boost your self-confidence.
Unfortunately, you may not be suitable for if you are pregnant or breastfeeding as the toxins used in these injections can have unpleasant side effects on your baby or unborn child – you must also be above the age of eighteen.

FAQ's
Does it hurt?
Patients tend to experience very minimal amounts of pain during and after an Eyebrow Lift. Despite this, some patients do report feeling slight discomfort or an unusual sensation during treatment.
Are there any side effects?
There are usually no serious side effects associated with this treatment, however, the most common side effect tends to be the appearance of bruising or swelling around the injection area. A mild headache can also occur in some cases.
How long do the results last?
Like other Botulinum toxin treatments, the effects of the Eyebrow Lift are not as permanent as some people would like. However, for most people, results last around 4-5 months.
