What It Is

The Treatment
As mentioned above, the OPERA LED Mask draws on a variety of LED light wavelengths to bring a number of skin ailments under control.
The first of these – infra-red light – deeply penetrates the skin to increase blood flow and quicken the speed at which nutrients and oxygen are delivered to the face and the neck. This bolsters the body’s natural healing processes and diminishes many typical signs of ageing such as wrinkles, fine lines and issues with pigmentation.
Infra-red light is joined in this treatment by red light and blue light, both of which can greatly improve the condition and appearance of the skin. Patients with acne tend to benefit most from blue light as this wavelength can remove acne-causing bacteria from the surface of the skin whilst limiting the activity of the glands responsible for producing natural oils such as sebum. Any associated inflammation can also be addressed by blue light.
Collagen production and cellular repair processes are enhanced via exposure to red light, with the mask’s in-built galvanic microcurrent tightening the skin and supporting lymphatic drainage. The latter of these things allows unwanted toxins to be removed from the face much more easily, contributing towards a fresher, healthier complexion.
