How Does It Work?
Juvederm® Voluma™ works similarly to other Dermal Fillers, as it contains hyaluronic acid. However, this is where the similarities end. Traditional fillers tend to treat your cheeks by filling in your wrinkles, Juvederm® on the other hand, is able to add volume to your face.

Am I Suitable For Treatment?
Unfortunately, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding then you will be unable to get fillers of any kind. If you have severe allergies or are allergic to lidocaine then you should also avoid Juvederm® treatment. In some cases, those who bruise severely and easily may not be suitable for cheek fillers due to the nature of the injections used.

FAQ's
Does it hurt?
Juvederm® products contain lidocaine to make the treatment as comfortable as possible, however, some patients do still report painful sensations during the procedure.
When will results become visible?
It is possible to see visible results straight after your treatment has concluded, however, it can take time for your fillers to take full effect. We recommend patients wait for at least 3 weeks after their treatment to see the finished result.
How many treatments are required?
Only 1 treatment is required for patients to achieve their skincare goals. As fillers are a temporary treatment we would advise patients to schedule follow-up sessions to maintain their results.
Is there any downtime?
Most patients experience no downtime and are able to resume their day right where they left off.
